Ways to Support Families by Donating Items

It is easy to be a part of our mission and make a difference in the life of a Pierce County family that needs support when you donate items to Helping Hand House!

Families often arrive after living in a car, tent, garage, or on a friend’s couch. With a stable home and essential needs met, their hope is rekindled and allows them to be able to dream again and make those dreams a reality. There are many ways you can help with making this possible.

Donate Household Items

Donate Gift Cards

We gladly accept them from Safeway, Fred Meyer, Walmart, Gas Stations, etc which allow us to fulfill client needs throughout the year. Contact 253.848.6096 or impact@helpinghandhouse.org to schedule a drop off time.

Organize Your Own Drive

Consider organizing and executing a supply drive. Whether it be a team-building opportunity work, social activity with your church, or a chance to give back to the community with a group of friends, YOU will be making an impact on families who need it most. Consider Giving While You Shop

Life gets busy and maybe you don’t have the time to go and purchase items followed by dropping them off. We’ve made some convenient ways for you to give back without even having to leave your home! Here are some other options to consider:
